Mommy's story part 15: Detail scan..done

I wasn't in the right mood today.Well,last night i slept quite late and woke up quite early.I had 4 hours of sleeping and that makes my mood even worse.I was feeling very sleepy this morning.
Today is my appointment for the Detail Scan.Honestly,i was feeling neither nervous nor happy.Must be because i only slept for 4 hours.Okay,anyways,the appointment's at 9a.m and around 8 a.m,believe it or not,i was still on the bed with my laptop,too lazy to take a shower.I felt like i want to just lie on the bed,browsing the net or sleep.My hubby,my dearest dearest hubby thought the appointment was on friday and guess what,he didn't inform the human resource people that he'll be taking a day off today.I already told him the appointment is on the 26th of August and he simply thought it was on friday.He said,i'm the one who told him it's on friday...yada yada yada...whatever lah sayang.Well,maybe i said it's on friday...hmm i can't really recall.My hubby had to go and see them today to pass the photostated appointment card to them and filled in the leave form with it attached to it.My hubby even went to see his GM to get his signature of approval.If he had informed about it earlier,he wouldn't have to go through all the hassle.Anyways,it is not a big a deal pun.
So,my hubby drove us (me and my mom) to Az-Zahrah in Bangi.The weather was so calm today.Very windy as if it's about to rain but it's not.That's what i call a lovely day!We reached there around 9:15am and there were no parking space available.My hubby dropped us off and he went looking for available parking space.Me and my mom went straight up to the first floor and registered for the appointment.
The queue was tremendously long.So many preggers were there sitting and waiting for their turns.Some i saw were talking to their husbands,some are just too lazy to talk and watch the tele instead,others are either sleeping or staring blankly at everyone who passes by or reading the newspaper.
Not long after that i called my husband and he said he had parked the car and he's heading to where we were now.I hung up and waved at mom,giving her a signal to sit beside me.
Well,since i wasn't in the mood to talk neither to do anything else (like there's anything for me to do there),i took a short nap.
Then,after a long wait,finally the nurse called my name.All the three of us went inside the doctor's room and to my surprise,it's not Dr.Noraini but Dr.Ensen (i think i spelled it wrongly but who cares anyways,it still sounds the same).The detail scan took less than 30 minutes i think.The detail scan is actually to check whether the baby has any complications involving the heart,kidney and so on and so forth.It was a wonderful experience.I saw my own baby and the face has already fully formed.What a lovely lovely baby.We counted the baby's fingers and toes.Syukur alhamdulillah everything is okay.The doctor even measured the eye distance,head,thigh and other parts of the baby's body.I can even see the baby moves and i tell you,the baby is moving around all the time.Such an active baby and i love my cute little baby to bits.Can't wait to hold my baby in my own arms.
I got a surprise from the doctor.She told me Dr.Noraini may wrongly determine the EDD (expected due date) for my delivery.After a thorough check up from Dr.Ensen it is now confirmed that i'm going to give birth on the 1st of December this year.WOW!!! 3 more months!!! :) i'm so excited!!! Because i'm too excited i forgot to ask the doctor about what she meant by my placenta is too low?I don't know whether this is normal or not or is it harmful to me?i guess i have to see Dr.Noraini and ask her about it on my next appointment which is on the 15th of sept.
After th check up we went straight home.I told them i'm too lazy to follow them to the 'pasar' and let my hubby and mom jer yg pergi.and i asked my hubby to buy me a McDonald-double cheese burger :) he he...harini tak puasa ler ;P
